Family Ready is our free mobile app — the same trusted approach as our paper Child ID Kits, built for your phone. See your Family Readiness Score at a glance, get one-tap access to your child's information in Emergency Mode, and keep everything from photos to emergency contacts organized in one place.
Family Ready is currently in Phase 1 beta testing, and we're inviting Kern County families to be among the first to try it. Your feedback over the next few months will directly shape what we build next.

MONTHLY CA MISSING
In California, a missing person is someone whose whereabouts are unknown to the reporting party. This includes any child who may have run away, been taken involuntarily, or may be in need of assistance. It also encompasses cases where children are illegally taken, held, or hidden by a parent or non-parent family member (See California Penal Code Sections 277-280). Community events in Bakersfield often focus on raising awareness about missing kids and providing support for missing youth and their families.
There is NO waiting period for reporting a person missing. All California police and sheriffs' departments must accept any report, including a report by telephone, of a missing person, including runaways, without delay, and will prioritize the handling of these reports to ensure the best possible assistance for missing kids.

Loving One Another Street Outreach
Loving One Another is our monthly community outreach — bringing the church to the streets of Bakersfield. Every 2nd Sunday, from 5 to 8 PM, we gather at 2151 S. Chester Ave for worship, encouragement, prayer, and real resources for our unhoused neighbors and local families in need.
This isn't charity from a distance — it's showing up. We connect people with food, clothing, hygiene items, weather gear, and pathways to support like substance abuse treatment resources. All are welcome. All are loved.
